March 2013 Announcement from Needham, MA - SCAN, a leading provider of Student Information Systems, today announced the addition of Graduate Institute of Applied Linguistics to its list of Graduate Schools using Campus Café.

The Graduate Institute of Applied Linguistics (GIAL) had employed several different systems for admissions, registration, business office functions, and development over several years and began a search for an integrated solution that would fit their budget.

“We evaluated several of the large Enterprise vendors in the marketplace, but the cost was prohibitive and the amount of resources required to run the system was too great for our institution.  I knew that there had to be a solution out there that could bring our administrative functions under one database system and we found it in Campus Café” said Rod Jenkins, CFO of GIAL.

GIAL also wanted a state of the art web based portal for students, faculty, advisors, and administrators and Campus Café was the right fit and chosen as the solution at GIAL.
