Application management in Campus Cafe becomes automated with our web based application forms. In addition to building custom inquiry forms, Campus Cafe's Admissions Portal allows each institution to build customized applications in real time.  The application has more advanced data capture capabilities than our inquiry portal in addition to allowing the institution to manage communications separately from the inquiry stage. This information goes directly into the database and eliminates the manual data input of applications.  If an applicant already exists in your database as an inquiry, our sophisticated duplicate checking algorithm automatically upgrades the prospective student to an applicant.  If the duplicate checking process does not have enough data to reliably match a record, the applicant is held for review by your admissions team so you can make the best possible decisions with your data.

Campus Cafe's Applicant Portal:

• Application Form Builder: From within Campus Cafe, you can build an unlimited number of forms to collect different information from types of prospective students.  For example, you may have different application forms for continuing education vs. traditional day school students.

• Manage duplicates: Campus Cafe provides extensive duplicate checking before adding any new records to the database.  Possible duplicates are held in a holding table that allows for the correct disposition of potential duplicates.
  
  

• Validation: Any time information is added to your database it must be validated - especially when it's added by a prospective student.  Campus Cafe performs a series of data validation procedures to ensure data integrity for all records and corresponding communications and reports.

Once the Application Portal has successfully created a new record in the database, it is then assigned to the appropriate Communication Plan.
